A lost BOL costs more than the paper it’s printed on.
Each lost bill of lading means $75-$125 in reprocessing fees, hours of phone calls, and delayed settlements. It happens to 15% of paper BOLs. It doesn’t have to happen to you.
The real cost
Reprocessing fees
Replacing a lost BOL means phone calls to the shipper, new paperwork, and waiting. Meanwhile, your settlement is frozen.
Receiver frustration
Showing up to a dock without your BOL is embarrassing. The receiver has to reprint your paperwork — and they remember.
Compound losses
It’s never just one BOL. If your system loses one, it’s losing others. The question is when you’ll notice.
How to stop losing BOLs
- 1
Go digital at the source
Shippers upload your BOL through a link. It never exists as paper in your cab — it goes straight to your phone.
- 2
Cloud backup, always accessible
Every BOL is stored securely in the cloud. Lose your phone? Log in from any device and everything’s there.
- 3
Share without handing over the original
Send a digital copy to anyone via link. The original stays in your vault, safe and untouched.

“I was at a Pilot just outside Kansas City, dumping my trash bag, and my bills went right in with it. I showed up at the receiver empty-handed and embarrassed. That day I said never again. That's why BOLinkz exists.”

Frequently asked questions
What if I already lost a BOL?
BOLinkz can’t recover paper you’ve already lost, but it prevents it from ever happening again. Start with your next load.
Can the shipper lose the digital version?
No. Once uploaded, the BOL is stored in your vault. The shipper uploads it once, and it’s yours permanently.
What if I don’t have service when I need the BOL?
Documents you’ve already viewed are cached in your browser. You can access them even with spotty signal.
How is this different from just taking a photo?
Photos are blurry, unsorted, and mixed in with your camera roll. BOLinkz stores the actual original PDF — clean, searchable, and organized by load.
